Been doing a little scrapping this week and came up with these three layouts using the Sweet Shoppe collections from Doodlebug. Such pretty patterned papers, embellishments, and glittery goodness! Enjoy!

What Catches!

Bobby and Jay were able to do a little fishing Labor Day weekend. Although, the fish weren't hitting as much as the last time, they had a good time. They also learned a thing or two about "baby reds" or "croaker fish." :)

Woohoo! Another beach trip! This time we let our other halves come with us! :) I was able to do a quick shoot with Jay and Emily on the beach. These are some of my favorite pictures of them.

This post is simply about nothing other than our two sweet fur babies.

These two are getting old. They will turn 12 and 9 this fall.

They have never judged, withheld affection, or said a harsh word to us. :) They make us laugh, they comfort us when we are sick, and they snuggle us all the time.

They have their own personalities, their favorite toys, their hiding spots, and their funny little quirks.

The have their own language of barks, erfs, growls, and songs. We are FLUENT in their language, recognizing their every sound.

They have many nicknames and answer to them all.

They tell us when it's bedtime.

They tell us when it's potty time.

They refuse to tell us where they've hidden our favorite shoe or when and where (or why)they've thrown up last.

They are our girls. We love them to pieces. :)

August 25th was my mother in law's birthday. We celebrated that evening at my house with a lovely Snickers Cake.

Of course, it wasn't ALL cake and presents! We DID have dinner first. :) I made roasted asparagus and shrimp casserole.
